Vedic (Jyotish) astrology is the classical Indian system — over 5,000 years old — using the sidereal zodiac, which tracks actual planetary positions relative to fixed stars. Western astrology uses the tropical zodiac. Vedic astrology places heavy emphasis on Dasha periods (planetary time cycles) for precise life timing, which most Western practitioners don't use. Many people who have "tried astrology" and found it vague have never had a proper Vedic reading.
I don't know my exact birth time. Can I still book?
Yes, you can still book — but precision matters. An exact birth time allows Daksh to cast a fully accurate chart including your Ascendant (Lagna) and house positions. If you only have an approximate time, the reading will still be valuable but some aspects may be less precise. Try to obtain your birth time from a birth certificate or hospital record before booking.
